Service Terms
Last updated: September 20, 2026
PrestoEvent is owned and operated by Zing! Inc. and its subsidiary PrestoBiz.com (“PrestoBiz”, “we”). By using PrestoEvent you agree to these terms. We may change them from time to time; the current version is always on this page.
A free service, provided as is
PrestoEvent is free. There is no charge, no paid tier, no ads on your sign-up pages, and nothing to cancel or refund. PrestoEvent does not take payments of any kind — if you need to collect money, that is PrestoRegister, a separate paid service.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that any information on the site is accurate, current or complete. You use it at your own risk.
We are not liable for any loss your event, group or business may suffer from using PrestoEvent, including lost sign-ups, lost data, delayed or undelivered email, or any interruption of the service.
We may change, suspend or discontinue PrestoEvent, or any part of it, at any time. We will give notice where we reasonably can.
Your account
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your password to yourself.
- Give us an email address that reaches you. It is how we send sign-in links and notices.
- Accounts are for people and groups organizing real events. Do not resell the service or create accounts automatically.
What you may not do
PrestoEvent may be used for lawful purposes only. You must not use it to:
- Collect names, emails or other details under false pretenses, impersonate another person or organization, or run any kind of phishing or fraud.
- Publish content that is defamatory, abusive, harassing, obscene, pornographic, threatening, or that infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark or other rights.
- Promote or organize anything illegal, or anything that would violate federal, state or local law.
- Send spam or unsolicited mass email, or use a sign-up page as a mailing list for messages people did not ask for.
- Interfere with the service or attempt to gain access to accounts, data or systems that are not yours — including probing, scanning, overloading or circumventing security.
Anyone can report a sign-up page with the “Report this page” link at the foot of it, or by writing to abuse@prestoevent.com.
Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close an account, and take its pages offline, if we conclude in our sole discretion that these terms have been violated, that a page is being used to deceive or harm people, or that the law requires it. A suspended account can be reinstated; a closed one cannot be reopened from within the service. We are not obliged to monitor content, but we may review, remove or refuse access to it.
Your content, and the people who sign up
What you put into a sign-up sheet stays yours. By putting it on PrestoEvent you give us permission to store and display it as part of providing the service, for as long as we are providing it to you. We do not pre-screen content, and you are responsible for what appears on your pages.
If you collect information from participants, it is yours to look after. Use it only for the event they signed up for, tell them if you will use it for anything else, and honor any request to be removed. Do not add participants to marketing lists they did not ask for. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with that information.
Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless PrestoBiz and Zing! Inc., and their officers, employees and agents, from any claim, loss, liability, expense or reasonable attorney’s fees arising from your use of the service, the content on your pages, or your violation of these terms or of any law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by U.S. federal law and the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action relating to the service shall be brought in a state or federal court in Wisconsin. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in force, amended to the minimum extent needed.
